Conference call options

We offer three types of conference call: customer managed, operator attended, and operator managed.

1. Customer Managed

Advantages: flexibility, twenty-four hour availability, no need to book in advance, best value for money.

How it works: After registering with Community Network, you are given a conference call telephone number and customer pin-code. Your participants ring the conference telephone number, enter the code, and follow the automated guidance to join your conference. In addition, a Community Network operator is available from 8.30am to 9pm every working day.

2. Operator Attended

Advantages: value for money, Community Network support throughout your conference.

How it works: After registering with Community Network and receiving a conference telephone number, you contact us to book specific conference times. Your participants ring the number at the time you designate, and our operator greets, connects and introduces them. Our operator remains accessible throughout the conference, and gives your callers a time-check when the conference has five minutes left to run.

3. Operator Managed

Advantages: peace of mind, active Community Network management of your conference.

How it works: After registering with Community Network and receiving a conference telephone number, you contact us to book specific conference times and give us a list of conference participants. When your conference is due to start, our operator rings everyone and connects them to the conference. The operator remains accessible for callers throughout the conference, and gives callers a time-check when your conference has five minutes left to run.
