Community Network is a telephone conferencing charity and social enterprise, located in Angel, Islington, N1.
We set up and run telephone support groups for isolated people. We have groups that work with older people, disabled people, carers, refugees and many others. We are looking for people who want to train as facilitators to support volunteers from the host community who are not as skilled in providing a professional facilitation service. You would be supporting groups that ‘meet’ on the phone weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and who meet for a set period (six months) or that are open ended.
In return, we will provide you with a friendly and supportive place to volunteer, in the company of paid staff and voluntary help. We also endeavor to ensure you get the training and experience you want to further your career, and pay travel and lunch expenses.
